Self proclaimed godhead,
a grand delusional cloak
wrapped tightly around it.

The modern human.

In this I find
the source of my disgust,
the perceived grace of
presence;
a gift to the rest
of the pathetic
parasitic infest.

My slender fingers,
once fine tipped,
have dulled in disuse.
But a voice gagged a request
up from my sickened bowels;

"Sharpen those claws again
And walk aimlessly,
endlessly,
dragging your long arms behind you,
with them sunken deep
into the skin of the earth."

I will pay heed
to the logic of my gut,
with pleasure I will
purge.
